Stronger Infrastructure: The New AZ in the Ireland Region

Demonstrating continued investment in Europe, Ethan Chen announced the official launch of the third Availability Zone (AZ) for the Huawei Cloud Ireland Region in early 2026. This expansion marks a significant upgrade to Huawei Cloud's European infrastructure, bringing three key advantages:

·  Enhanced reliability and resilience: The new 3-AZ architecture will improve the reliability of storage and database services by 10 times, ensuring zero interruption for key customer services.

·  Doubled compute and capacity: Data center capacity will expand by five times, providing on-demand compute at scale to handle skyrocketing service demands.

·  Deployment of Versatile: The new AZ will host Huawei Cloud's enterprise-grade AI agent platform Versatile, allowing enterprises to easily develop AI agents and boost service efficiency.

Huawei Cloud: Four Paths Following the Multi-Cloud Strategy

The summit showcased compelling real-world examples, moving from technical ideas to successful implementations:

Obuda University, Hungary's top polytechnic, leveraged Huawei Cloud's AI Compute Service to launch three transformative applications—a campus service chatbot, a smart teaching AI application, and a robust research model platform—catering to over 14,000 students in mere weeks, setting a new standard for smart university in Hungary.

Eniro Group, the largest search engine in Europe, migrated their business to Huawei Cloud, modernizing applications while reducing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) by 40%.

Barceló, Spain's second-largest hotel group with over 250 hotels in 22 countries, is migrating their core service systems to Huawei Cloud, including corporate services and Big Data Environment systems, to boost data analytics, operational efficiency, and customer experience with cloud computing, big data, and AI technologies.
